About Me

Hey, I'm Caitlin and I didn't always have these RD letters after my name. I was once just a teen who was told to start "watching my weight" at fifteen years old. Close to a decade passed until I discovered food freedom, formally known as Intuitive Eating, and it changed the direction of my life for the better.

 

You see,  while I was "watching my weight," everything about my life was centered on weight loss efforts- My nutrition, exercise, feelings of self-worth and acceptance, and all of the content I consumed. Throughout the years I've tried many diet culture tactics like low-carb diets, diet foods, vegetarianism,  "clean eating," weighing and portion sizing, meal plans, and meticulous tracking that resulted in my ruined relationship with food,  negative body image, and disconnected appetite cues. Not to mention the time and money I wasted.

But today I am living my best life!

  • I have ditched the diet mentality

  • I have healed my relationship with my body and with food

  • I maintain my weight while enjoying every aspect of life

  • I no longer feel food guilt or restrict any foods from my diet

  • I maximize my health with gentle nutrition

  • I have found balance in my lifestyle between movement, eating, work, social life, family, and running a business

  • I now put my many years of nutrition knowledge and personal experience to amazing use to help other women do the same!

Get back to living life again to its fullest- For me, that's having reservations at my favorite restaurants,  going on walks around my neighborhood or hikes on nearby trails, getting creative in the kitchen, and spending time with my loved ones.

My Eating Philosophy
  • I do not use restriction-based nutrition.

  • I take an all-foods-fit approach and help you tackle your mindset around food so that you can improve your relationship with food and start to live life again.

  • I do not tediously track food

  • I educate about food and the nutrients it can provide, and how these nutrients can serve you best or be tailored based on underlying conditions.

  • I focus on food preferences to create meals and snacks and adapt meal planning to suit your lifestyle.

  • I use an Intuitive Eating  framework
